The center is a school which focuses on mind/body/spirit learning through
body and movement awareness training. The instruction includes both Aikido
and body work.
Columbus Center for Movement Studies/Aikido of Columbus is located in Columbus, Ohio, in the United States.
Paul Linden, Ph.D., and Peggy Berger, M.S., are the chief instructors at CCMS. They have been practicing and teaching somatic disciplines and Aikido for over thirty years. Their focus is on the interrelation of self-exploration and improvement of performance.
Paul and Peggy founded CCMS in 1982. In 1996, they
moved to their present Silver Drive location, which offers a large practice
space for the classes and private lessons they provide.
