The Columbus Center for Movement Studies / Aikido of Columbus is located in the Clintonville section of Columbus, Ohio, and it is very easy to get to. We are located on Silver Drive, between North Broadway and Weber Road. Silver Drive is immediately west of and adjacent to I-71. To get to the school, first get to North Broadway.
There is a North Broadway exit from freeway I-71. (If you are coming south on I-71, do not get off at the Weber Road exit because you cannot turn north from the exit ramp.) There is also a North Broadway exit from Rt 315. Or you can get to North Broadway through town from High Street or Indianola Avenue. From 315, High or Indianola, go east on North Broadway.
You can also get to North Broadway from Cleveland Avenue. Go west on Oakland Park, then south one block on Maize Road, then right onto North Broadway (going west).
Whichever route you take, proceed on North Broadway until you get to the I-71 overpass. Just west of the overpass, you will see Silver Drive.
Go south on Silver Drive, toward Weber Rd. If you get to Weber Rd, you have gone too far.
We are in a warehouse with a number of other businesses, and you cannot see our door from the street. The business you will see from the street is NAPA Auto Parts, which has a bright blue store front with bright yellow letters. Turn into the driveway/courtyard.
We are immediately behind NAPA, where the wall turns from blue to gray. We have two doors to the school. One is a bright red door, and that is the entrance for Aikido classes. The other door is a glass door about three feet to the right, and that is the entrance to our offices, where we conduct body/movement awareness lessons.
