For many years, Paul has been engaged in the project of creating simpler and quicker ways of communicating his peacemaking methods. This 48-page booklet titled Reach Out was his first attempt at simplifying it. The Embodied Peacemaking RVC is the current version of a 14-page handout. Both short versions are available for free and have been translated into various languages.
Both versions as well as the book are available in the SHOP.

Contraction makes actions effortful, inefficient and awkward, and it reduces the ability to think flexibly and function calmly. The distress response can be overcome by constructing a body state of relaxed, alert, compassionate expansiveness.

When my son was little, I wrote a number of stories for him and his friends. Looking back at them, I am surprised (or maybe not) to notice that there were stories about diversity, non-violence, sustainability, and a pandemic. The particular stories that are relevant to this book are available for free. Just for fun!
